Tutorial Tuesday: Video Boot Camp for Teachers (Steve Stockman) ndlela October 2, 2012 Tutorials My initial experience with Steve Stockman was at this year’s Vimeo Festival. His workshop “How Storytelling Makes Better Video” was amazing. He kept coming back to the shot [what it was saying, who was the hero of the shot, . . .] It is a lot of common sense stuff that seems to go out of the window when the camera goes on. I ran out and got his book How to Shoot Video That Doesn’t Suck: Advice to Make Any Amateur Look Like a Pro and bought a bunch of copies for my friends. Below is a resource for people teaching video production or media literacy. It has some great exercises and organizing principles. I wasn’t able to download it without signing in but it can be made full screen (bottom right button.) Leave a ReplyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
