Short Video: Portal: No Escape (Dir: Dan Trachtenberg)

Happy Monday! Not such a happy Monday for the protagonist of Portal: No Escape.

Ever felt that you were stuck in a loop that kept getting back to the place you are trying to escape? Well, you probably have nothing on our unnamed protagonist. This film directed by Dan Trachtenberg has only been online for a few days and it is already causing quite a sensation.

The action and special effects are great (I wonder what the budget was). There is no dialogue and only one real character and yet we get the story very clearly. I am curious how big this film will get in terms of views online and if this gets expanded into a feature. Mr. Trachtenberg made a great short and (like all the shorts I feature here) really expands the possibilities of short film.
