Happy Birthday Ibrahim

Happy birthday you beach! This is the first birthday without you and it is so hard. It still doesn’t make sense to me 1o months later. Things on this plain have been the worst since you have been gone. It is all less colorful, less beautiful, less fierce and a whole lot more lonely. I am making Katherin’s Georgian chicken for the solo birthday banquet I am about to have. I will make the pilgrimage to Amy Ruth’s soon for another of our grand banquets since we never quite made it back there together. This is as much as I can write right now . . .

[Photos] Strolling Past the Met

I decided to go old school and play around with creating some animated GIFs (which I haven’t done in years.) This was a series of shots I took with my phone as I walked passed The Met on the way to Shakespeare In the Park. It is just 4 shots. I had forgotten how the limited color palette of GIFs does interesting things to color gradients.
