Writing Commitment for NaNoWriMo 2010

Another November rolls around and ashers the annual month-long online writing-fest called NaNoWriMo (alternatively called National Novel Writing Month or National Stop Procrastinating and Write Month). In an ideal world I would write a whole novel during NaNoWriMo and finish a whole script during Script Frenzy.

This year I am going to keep it simple. I will be writing between 15 – 30 minutes every day. I am not sure what page count that translates into. The commitment is not to work on a novel but use the month to just getting back into the habit of writing something everyday . . . whatever that ends up looking like. So at the end of the day I might just end up with 30 journal entries but hey that will be 30 more pieces of writing than I would have had. I will keep track everyday of the number of minutes (and maybe even pages) I write everyday.
