This was shot at the Sixth Annual Bronx Borough President & Allies LGBTQ Pride Awards Ceremony on 06/01/16 at Billy’s Sports Bar in the Bronx.

The event was hosted by Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. and Council Members Ritchie Torres and James Vacca.

Vivika Westwood Mugler and Appolonia Cruz were the MCs.

Tym Moss and Frankie Allday performed.

The honorees for this year were:
– Demetrius McCord, Harm Reduction Coalition and Community Board 8, Bronx Louise Marchena, Planned Parenthood NYC
– Octavia Lewis, Islan Nettles Community Center
– Justin Lowery, Community Board 9 and Stonewall Democratic Club of – NYC
– The 2016 John Wade Award Recipient was given to Former NYC Council Speaker Christine Quinn, President and CEO of Women in Need
