Short Video: Nuit Blanche (dir: Arev Manoukian)

Happy Friday! This award winning short film by Spy Films has been around for a couple of years now and I am still amazed every time I watch it.

This is basically an extended moment between two strangers. It is shot beautifully in black and white with amazing special effects, production design, costumes, hair/mu, . . . They just get it right all around.

The production team (huge for a short; checkout the credits) creates an intimate fleeting moment. Congratulations to director Arev Manoukian and the rest of the team for a great job.

Even the “making of” film is beautiful.

It was very generous of them to share what they did to construct this world and moment. They are also very responsive to folks comments and questions on the vimeo page.
