Short Video: In The Fall (Dir: Steve Cutts)

Happy Monday! Here is a great short film by Steve Cutts. Why a cute film about a man falling to his death as the Monday video? Just a reminder not to be this dude in the latter years of the film he watches. Happy Monday!

LiveWP TV (Episode 5)

Here is the 5th episode of LiveWP TV. You will notice that these shows are out of sequence here. That is because we had to get out Episode 6 quickly because it had time sensitive info (WordCamp 2011) that we needed to get out.

It is great sadness that I share that episode 6 is the last show I will be shooting and episode 5 will be the last show I will be editing for LiveWP TV. It has been great being a part of the project from its inception in January and I am grateful that it kept that part of my brain working as I worked on my own projects. It has been a pleasure working with Kurt, James and Dave. Feel free to contact them through the show website you are interested in working on a great web video project.

LiveWP TV (Episode 6)

This is episode 6 of LiveWP TV. The shows are out of order because we had to get this one out because it was time senstitive with WordCamp Boston coming up so quickly. I just finished episode 5 this weekend and will post that sometime this week. Enjoy.

Short Video: Watermelon Carving (Dir: Vid Nikolic)

Here is a short video by Vid Nikolic to keep you cool on this hot summer day (in North America). Vid’s skills with fruit and vegetables are amazing. Enjoy! Stay cool!

Matt Cutts: Try something new for 30 days (TED Talks)

I like this TED Talk by Matt Cutts. It is short and sweet. He gets extra points for mentioning NaNoWriM. Happy July!

Video Friday – The Making of Futurama

Here is a great video that shows the Futurama workflow. Very interesting. I always figured the animation happened first. That would explain why it flows so well. Enjoy!

LiveWP TV (Episode 3)

As promised, here is episode 3 of LiveWP TV. Kurt and James are a lot more comfortable in front of the cameras and are enjoying it a lot more. I even make a cameo halfway through the video (about the 27 minute in). I love the footage of Dave right before the camera switches to me. There was something so right about him standing behind the camera directing it all with a glass of beer. LiveWP TV! The weird lighting from all kinds of strange light sources gives it a kinda horror lighting pallet that I like. Episodes 4 and 5 are in the can.
